    COURSE DESCRIPTION

    Network Technology is a course aimed at individuals that want to learn more about how to specify and set up a network. With modern lighting control systems looking and working more and more like standard IT networks it is important to understand this often daunting world of IP address, subnet masks and network switches! We will start from the ground up and give you a solid grasp on the basics, from a lighting perspective, so you can take your knowledge and apply it to various lighting consoles, network switches and protocols.
