    COURSE DESCRIPTION

    In this 2-day intensive training, participants will learn how to deploy JBL SRX900 Systems successfully. The course will cover the SRX900 products and software ecosystem; participants will learn about system design, deployment, rigging and verification. Participants should have a working knowledge of audio basics, including signal flow, gain structure, acoustics, and general terminology. We encourage you to "bring your venue" with you; all dimensions, photos and design requirements are welcomed for discussion during the JBL Software Ecosystem module.

    Due to time constraints, JBL’s acoustic modeling software, Venue Synthesis, is briefly covered during SRX900 training. A comprehensive Venue Synthesis training is offered as a standalone course.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    • Deep dive into the SRX900 product lineup; from the signal processing and amplifier technology to the acoustic principals of the cabinet design.
    • The JBL Software ecosystem will be thoroughly explained, and participants will get hands on time with each piece of software.
    • Learn correct network setup and get the opportunity to connect to actual SRX900 devices.
    • Learn to safely rig the SRX900 system for overhead suspension.
    • Design, deploy, connect, and test four unique SRX900 systems that simulate real-world use cases.


    PREREQUISITES

      This course has been specifically designed to accommodate all experience levels. Participants should have a working knowledge of audio basics, including signal flow, gain structure, acoustics, and general terminology. Participants are also encouraged to watch the online training courses for both LAC-III and Performance ahead of class.

    REQUIRED MATERIALS

    Participants will need to bring their own PC (or Mac with Boot Camp), preloaded with the latest versions of LAC-III and JBL Performance. These programs should be up and running as we will not have time to repair personal computers during the course.
